Planning for retirement

I'm seriously considering early retirement, perhaps starting this new phase of my life sooner than originally planned. For many years, work has occupied almost all of my time. The thought of having more freedom to manage my time and do things I've always wanted to do but kept putting off is incredibly exciting. Traveling, connecting with nature, weekend getaways, or simply slowing down and enjoying life's little pleasures—frankly, the thought of transitioning from a hectic work pace to a completely new lifestyle is a little disorienting. Therefore, I'd love to hear from friends who have already retired or retired early about their real experiences. If you're divorced or widowed, is your retirement life what you imagined? Is it easy to manage your time each day? Or do you need time to adjust to the new rhythm? If you were to replan your retirement, what would be your top priorities? Are there any interests, dreams, or plans that you haven't had time to pursue due to being too busy? I'd much rather hear real-life experiences and insights than online advice. After all, everyone's retirement journey is different. I also hope to meet some new friends in my neighborhood. Having a coffee together, taking a walk, chatting about life, and sharing our stories would be wonderful. If you're already retired, or going through a retirement transition, I'd love to hear your story and feelings. 😊 Please don't criticize me if you're not interested in my articles, thank you.
